The 2005 Taiwan Global Investment Forum in New York
New York, New York, October 13, 2005
The forum is held in association with the Financial
Supervisory Commission (FSC) and co-hosted by the Taiwan
Stock Exchange Corporation and Macquarie Securities Limited.
The forum has been designed as a platform for discussion
between investors, executives from multinational corporations,
industry leaders, and academics on the key issues impacting
the flows of international money into Taiwan assets. This
year, FSC Chairman Kong Jaw-Sheng is giving a keynote
speech on the reform of Taiwan's financial supervisory
system, while several industry leaders from the nation's
financial, high-tech and communications sectors are discussing
the latest industry development and business opportunities
for foreign investors at the forum.
